亞洲智能障礙聯盟很榮幸在中華民國智障者家長總會二十週年之際，提供祝賀與祝福。
包括台灣，亞洲智能障礙聯盟有十五個國家會員。我們很高興台灣有心智障礙者家長的支持與協助，因為家長團結一致成立了家長組織去幫助心智障礙者成為社會上有生產力的一份子。
中華民國智障者家長總會在過去二十年來已經達成許多的成就，我們期盼中華民國智障者家長總會在未來繼續努力向前進。中華民國智障者家長總會在地方上有效地協助家長組織。我們希望亞洲智能障礙聯盟會員國當中的家長組織也可以支持中華民國智障者家長總會的相關行動。

ASIAN FEDERATION ON INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

The Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (AFID) has great pleasure in sending felicitations and good wishes to the Parents' Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability, Taiwan (PAPID) on the occasion of its 20th Anniversary celebrations.  
 
AFID has 15 full-member countries across Asia, including Taiwan.  We are supportive of the role played by parents of intellectually disabled persons, especially when such parents can come together to form their own associations and to generally help the intellectually disabled to be productive members of society.
 
PAPID has achieved much in its 20 years of existence, and we hope it will continue to make great strides.  The regional meetings it has organised for like-minded parents bear testimony to its effective outreach.  We hope all similar organisations in AFID member countries can support the initiatives by PAPID.
